God made the sky. God made the puppies. God made the mountains and the tiny bugs. And God made YOU — on purpose. He picked your eyes, your smile, and your very own laugh. You are not an accident.

God knew you before Mommy and Daddy even saw your face. That means you are very, very special to Him.

Dear Jesus, thank You for making me just the way I am. Help me love the ‘me’ that You made. Amen.

Everyone in Israel's army saw the giant and hid. David saw the same giant and ran toward him. Why the difference? David wasn't looking at Goliath's size — he was looking at God's size. He knew the battle didn't belong to him; it belonged to the Lord.

What ‘giants’ are you facing right now — a hard subject at school, a friend problem, a fear you can't shake? Have you been trying to fight it in your own strength, or have you handed it to the Lord?

Lord, remind me the battle is Yours. Give me courage to stand up for what's right, even when I feel small. In Jesus' name, amen.

Daniel was a teenager taken from home, dropped into a pagan university, and offered every luxury the king had. Nobody at school would have known if he'd caved. But before the temptation ever showed up, Daniel had already made his decision. That's the secret — he ‘purposed in his heart’ ahead of time.

Most Christian teens lose the battle in the moment because they never fought it beforehand. The dorm room, the party, the phone in the dark — decisions made under pressure almost always compromise. Decisions made in prayer, before the pressure hits, hold.

Lord, give me a Daniel-heart. Let me settle now, on my knees, what I will not compromise later. Guard me from the sins I have not yet been tempted with. In Jesus' name, amen.

Read Psalm 23 together, slowly. Let each person read one verse. Notice: the sheep doesn't lead itself, feed itself, or find its own water. It just follows. That's the whole picture of the Christian life — a Shepherd who is enough, and sheep who follow.

Ask around the table: What does the Shepherd give in verse 2? In verse 3? In verse 4? Which verse do you need most this week? A tired parent needs verse 2 (rest). A scared child needs verse 4 (‘I will fear no evil’). An overwhelmed teen needs verse 5 (‘my cup runneth over’).

Great Shepherd, we are Your sheep. Feed us, lead us, and bring us home. Thank You that we shall not want. In Jesus' name, amen.

God's design for marriage is three words: leave, cleave, one. Leave — the old loyalties don't rule anymore. Cleave — a glued-together, non-negotiable bond. One — not two roommates sharing a bill, but one flesh, one team, one Gospel picture. Paul says this whole picture is preaching Christ and the Church.

Where has ‘leave’ slipped — a parent, a phone, a hobby, a friendship, a job that gets what belongs only to your spouse? Where has ‘cleave’ weakened — silent evenings, separate calendars, cold mornings? Where has ‘one’ blurred — you keeping score, or drifting into ‘mine’ and ‘yours’?

Father, You designed us for one another. Forgive us where we've lived like roommates. Make our marriage preach the Gospel of Christ and His Church. In Jesus' name, amen.
